Guests on tour often ask about the small chapels seen during the opening credits of The Sound of Music movie. Originally, they were never given much thought ... but while researching their identities and locations, their charming appeal was revealed and are now included as special stops on the OFFICIAL TOUR.
All but one chapel from the movie has been located. That search is still on to find it. For film buffs, it’s the lone white chapel on a grassy hill - seen behind the movie’s title. (Not the one pictured above.)
In addition to chapel stops, the tour now includes stops at other undiscovered movie locales scattered throughout the Salzburg region.
